dual boot problem

i had windows 8.1 and windows 8 installed on dual boot, i replaced the windows 8 with windows 10. but now i can't access windows 8.1. i can see all the files of windows 8.1 on an other drive but it does not give the option to choose windows on startup

You may need to add the Boot Configuration Database (BCD) entry for Windows 8.1 to the new Windows 10 boot loader to allow Windows 8.1 to boot. You can fix that with BootRec /ScanOS. Details on BootRec are available here.

You could also run bcdboot d:\windows, assuming the broken windows installation is located on the d partition.
