So I want to setup two different SSD's with Windows 7 and Windows 10. However theese SDD's are not too big so I keep my files on my third 1TB HDD.

So I wonder if I can install programs and games on either OS and still have it run just as well on the other OS.

For instance if I install Photoshop to the HDD from my Windows 7 OS, can I make it run normally from the Windows 10 OS without having to install it seperately?

If I have to get into registry, could you give me a guide as to which keys I'd have to edit each time I install a new program.

Of course I don't care about movie, music etc. as those run just fine anyway.

You will have to install applications in both versions of Windows if you want to run them in both versions of Windows.

Each version of Windows has it's own Program Files folder, each has it's own registry, and each has it's own batch of support files for your applications.

There is no way that the two Windows versions can "communicate" with each other as far as sharing applications, support files and registry entries is concerned.

Yeah I was afraid so. Have you been able to test Windows 10 yet?

I know there might be a few bugs and glitches, but is it stable enough to use as a gaming OS or should I just wait for the actual release?
I'm currently using Windows 7 and I don't have any problems, but I kind of want to try win10.
