dual boot vm

I already have linux installed to dual boot with windows 7 64. Trying to run both operating systems at the same time without having to reinstall linux on vm software. Any ideas?

Well, running at least one of them in a VM IS the way you do it. Either that or two computers on a KVM.

"at the same time" requires the VM concept.

I realize that i have to use VM software. I'm just trying to use it with an already existing installed operating system

You still have to install the OS inside the VM.

Not sure it works with a Linux OS, but worth a try.

Definitely doesn't work with non Windows OS's (uses Windows' Volume Snapshot capability).
