[SOLVED] Dual Channel Does Not work on 1 and 3 but does on 2 and 4

My motherboard is ASROCK Z690 Pro RS

CPU is Intel 12400F.

I bought rams and they don't work on 1 and 3 slot but does on 2 and 4 with XMP enabled. Why? Is the motherboard defective?

your sticks should be mounted in slot 2 and slot 4 to get dual channel.slots and three will give you single channel.you motherboard is fine.

It's in the manual (page 16). If there's only two RAM sticks, the motherboard only looks at slots A2 and B2.
