[SOLVED] dual channel memory proplem

Hi,
for some reason i can'n no longer use the first memory channel in my motherboard it used to work fine but i uninstalled my motherbourd and all parts to clean it and now channel one wont work and i cant install the ram in dual channel so is my motherboard dying now or can it some how be disabled ?

Have you tired both dual channel configurations? Slots 2&4 or 1&3.

yes i have the only way for it to work is 3&4 not even 1&2

Did you remove the cpu from the socket during the cleaning?
