i have dual channel motherboard and my local store seller is telling me, That you have to buy same mhz of ram of 2 but i said will it work if i buy 1 pice he said no I Mean why?

Dual-channel will not work without 2 RAM modules of the same speed. But you can use just 1 module in single-channel even on a dual-channel motherboard.

One stick of RAM will only work in single channel mode. You need two for dual channel, so he is quite correct.

More or less yes. To put it a better way, you can't use dual-channel with 1x8GB ram module. You won't be in dual-channel unless you have 2x RAM modules that operate at the same speed, timing, and voltage.

But in a dual-channel motherboard you can use 1x8GB. It will just run in single-channel.

No you can't. Like I said you need 2x4 for 8GB in dual channel.
