Question Dual Channel on RAM is not working

Hi , recently I bought MSI z97 Gaming 5 and when I was pluging RAM PC didnt boot up so I took out one RAM stick and it work normally , then I checked other slots and second RAM stick and its working. My PC will only boot up with 2 stick of RAM with single channel. Does anyone know why ?

CPU: Intel i5 4690K
GPU GTX 960
RAM: 2x4GB DDR3 HyperX Fury
PSU:Corsair CP-9020094-UK RM1000x 1000 W
Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5

So if I am reading correctly - both RAM sticks work - as does each slot.
If so, do you have latest BIOS installed?
Also can you check if the CPU socket has any bent pins?
Is your RAM from the same kit?
