dual channel or not

hey guy's

i have intel g965wh motherboard with single stick of kingston 1gb ddr2 667 memory in single. i am using onboard video card till geforce 8 8600 ultra is released. will adding a 2nd stick of 1 gb make any difference in gaming or computer performence. cause that will enable dual channel then. should i and second stick anyways.

It probably won't make a big difference in gaming. Windows might seem more snappy, because of the extra memory, not really because of the faster speed.
