I have a samsung 840 120gb ssd in my pc but big apps like games, photoshop takes a lot of time to load. The read speed of the ssd is 530mbps and the ram is corsair vengeance 1x4gb 1600mhz.
Is there a big performance difference between single channel and dual channel memory.
Will adding an extra 4gb vengeance decrease the app loading time and increase the gaming performance.

My PC specificattion:
1)Core i5 3450 processor
2)Corsair vengeance 1x4gb 1600mhz ram
3)Samsung 840 120gb ssd
4)Radeon HD6850 graphics
5)Asrock H77 pro4-mvp motherboard
6)Windows 8 pro 64-bit

Solution
The additional DRAM will help and running in dual adds another 10-15% performance wise, also with more DRAM let's reads and writes to the page file which hopefully isn't on the SSD as writes are the bane of SSDs
