The list shows what RAM will work but it is not a complete list as lots of other RAM that is not listed will work.

If you check suppliers in your area and use the criteria I listed above you will find the RAM you need. Once you find one you like for the price you like post a link and we will tell you if it is a good choice. Normally I would post what to buy but I don't have any experience of your country.

but it says that my cpu can only handle 1066/1333mhz of memory. what does that mean??

You are not giving us much information so we can offer best advice. Would be helpful if you let us know your budget, what country you are in and how much RAM you want.

Your motherboards has 2 dimm slots and supports upto 16GB RAM (assuming you have 64 bit operating system) of DDR3 RAM at 1600MHz.

In the UK you can get 2 x 8GB of Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz CAS 9 for £51.82.I choose this one based on cost but the choice for you may be different if you are in a different country or you want less (4GB or 8GB)

well im from the philippines and what i want is 8gigs of ram in dual channel form so (2x4) maybe at 1600mhz or 1333mhz but im not sure because what i saw on the internet is my cpu can only handle 1066/1333 of memory. im a computer noob so there are many things that i dont know. i dont have a specific budget but i know that most of the dual channel rams in here costs 1800-2500php

Higher RAM speeds will just be downclocked.

I have no experience of buying in the Phillipenes so it is hard to advise you on what to buy or where to buy it.

That being said you are basically looking for 2 x 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 240 pin, (CAS latency 8 or 9), speed of: 1333MHz/1600MHz. Some good brands to look for are Corsair, Kingston, GSkill, Crucial, Mushkin and Patriot.

If you have a look at local suppliers and post links to what you want to buy we can let you know if it is suitable.

these are the compatible rams for my mobo but i dont know exactly the things that are posted in there http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H61M-VG4/?cat=Memory
