Yes, it's possible. Even if you buy another DDR4-3000 CAS16 stick, you may have to relax sub-timings to get it to work. Not a huge deal. The more sub timings you match (16-18-18-38) the easier it's likely to be.
Thank you for your reply, but could you explain to me what ram sub timings are because I am clueless.

After rethinking things, I want to buy another stick so I can utilize dual channel and have 16 gb of ram, however the ram is out of stock. Is it possible to use dual channel having a second stick from another brand but the same ram storage and speed?

Though, using another module from another brand with the same specs might work, I don’t recommend that!

Best option is: selling your memory and buying a kit of 2 modules.

Second best option is: buying an identical RAM module to the one that you already have, and pairing it with the first.
