Hello everyone!

I am building a dedicated PC to run a program and I am currently looking into RAM. I changed my mind from doing 32 to 64 and am a little stumped. I would like to use

with

and the motherboard specs says that it supports dual channel and I am trying to figure out what is dual channel so I can get the most out of my RAM. The page of the RAM I want to use doesn't say anything about channels. Can anybody help me with this?

dual channel simply put is two memory channels to the CPU. this way half the memory will be able to talk to the CPU on one channel WHILE the other half can talk to the CPU on the other. this is faster than all the ram sharing the same channel.
dual channel requires more than one stick of memory. on your board one channel of RAM is on the gray the other channel is the black.
not a requirement but a suggestion is to get a set of RAM as a kit, which you are.
