So after waiting for AMD keynote, I got to know new APU's aren't coming nearby. Hence I will be going with 2200G. There are a lot of videos showing that how FPS differ when running 1x4GB or 2x4GB or 4x4GB or 2x8GB. My choice of mobo is Msi B450M-PRO VDH.
1) I want to know how come they are saying it's quad channel when all ryzen can only support dual channel.? Maybe I'm missing something ?
2) Which config would be better to go with ? I want 16gb ram in my system but I dont have such money. So i thought going with 2x4GB kit then another 2x4GB in future. But will it work ? will it be like dual dual channel ? I don't know.
3) I will be going for CPU upgrade in not so distant future and a discrete GPU as well. So will faster RAM be helpful at that time ?

Also how is the mobo? I mean if I want to go for M.2 storage, I read that it will use pcie lanes. Can someone please elaborate on that like how many PCIE lanes are provided ? Is it dependent on CPU or motherboard ? There is a sharing of PCIE lanes between pcie x16, x8,x4,x1 m.2 slot etc. So what difference those make ? Totally noob in this area.

Thanks in advance

1) It's not quad channel. I don't know who you saw saying that, but they're wrong.
2) the best option is to get 2x8 GB right away. You can get 2x4 now and another 2x4 later, but ram that isn't purchased together as a kit isn't guaranteed to work together.
3) all ryzen CPUs benefit from fast RAM. 3000-3200 MHz seems to be the sweet spot for performance and price.

The x16 slot does not share bandwidth with any other slots, including the m.2 slot. The x16 slot will run at x8 speed with a ryzen APU.

-either get 8gbx2 3200Mhz or get 4gbx2 2400mhz and when u get money get rid of 2400mhz. difference between 2400mhz and 3200mhz is 3-6Fps in games on same settings (3-6fps dont sound much but a 30fps over 25-26fps does make some diffrence)
-if you are in india i would suggest you go with B350 board and get shopkeeper to update its bios for you B350 are 2-5K cheaper than B450 with similar features. Board (Msi450M pro VDH) you mentions dont have current gen USB ports (3.1 2nd gen) and crappy Audio Output. and cost a lot for things it offer.
-no point going with M.2 sata ssd either get a full SSD or Nvme.

i am using 2200G, 2x4gb 2400mhz green rams, gigabyte AB350 Gaming3 RGB, samsung evo860 240gb and VS450 PSU.
and intend to up the Ram to 3200Mhz soon, as back when i build it, Ram costed kidneys.

but if you plan on getting GPU in future if you not hardcore games i would suggest you stick with 2400MHz with a GPU like 1060 or 1070, 3-6 or even 10 Fps offered by faster Ram(3200Mhz) wouldnt make much difference when avg Fps is 70-80
