dual channel with dedicated gpu

I'm looking forward to buy a ryzen 5 2400g and i will get a gpu, rx 580 4gb, so do I need dual channel ram if I have dedicated gpu?

If you are getting a dedicated GPU you may want to buy a Ryzen 2600 instead, unless its outside your budget that is.

To answer your question the GPU has nothing to do with the RAM of the system, and you should always try and get dual channel, especially with Ryzen. If you don't you are effectively cutting the bandwidth of system memory in half, and in memory heavy applications, including many games this will be noticeable.
