Question Dual computer setup for streaming

I stream a lot of PC games and have recently experienced some performance issues while running my VR, Stream software, and twitch channel/chat on the same computer. My main computer is pretty good

I7-6700 3.4ghz.

32 gigs of ram.

GTX1080.

and Oculus rift for VR.



I was curious, since I do have a Lenovo thinkpad laptop and an Elgato HD60 capture card. Do you think my laptop would be able to be the dedicated Stream setup so that I do not experience performance drops on my main CPU?

It has an I7 4600

I would ask you to try it out and see if you get favorable frames streamed across to your platforms. If you're needing more, that's when you can shell out on a system dedicated for handling streaming duties. On the last note, at first glance, you should be fine but can you please pass on the SKY to your Lenovo Thinkpad?
