Dual Core e5800 3.20GHz + gtx 950 bottleneck?

I currently have that processor and I want to buy a graphics card, I am deciding between the gtx 750 ti and the 950, if I bought the 950 could I give the same performance as the 750 ti by the bottleneck? I know they will not give me a spectacular performance but I want to know if it is a good idea to buy the gtx 950

The GTX 950 should be a safe buy for that aging dual core. You might also check out the newer, faster GTX 1050/1050 Ti and RX 460/470

There are games that get by with a dual core, in those games a 950/1050 or RX 460 would be a big help. The 750 Ti has the least performance, so unless you are on a tight budget or can get a really good deal on one I won't recommend it. You're buying the videocard to help your older system run games, it defeats the purpose to buy the weakest card out of your options.
