Dual core pagefile problem

Hello,
3gb ram 500gb hard disk, e5400 ultimate 32bit
what should be the size of page file
setting it 4.5gb (initial) giving me problems

With 3 gig of RAM, you can probably set the page file to 2 gig, the 1.5 "rule" for page file size is from when a good RAM amount was 256MB

Set min and max size to the same.
