Dual display, No signal.

Hi guys, i have had a dual display for quite some time, and recently bought a new monitor, like a goofball i did not purchase a DVI Cable with it so i had to make some adjustments, I have one that is a 1080p View sonic monitor, it is set up with VGA only, and i have an acer monitor that is using VGA, but connected to my video card with a VGA to DVI Adapter, i have my other view sonic monitor connected through VGA to HDMI and as soon as i plug it in, both monitors will say "no signal" i have installed all the newest drivers etc. When i swap the monitor connections the one that is connected through HDMI will say no signal after a little bit of using it, please if you all have any ideas on a fix this will be great, thanks in advance, Edward.

And to add to it, i just plugged in the HDMI cable to my card and currently both monitors are working, is there anyway this could be caused from the temps on my card?
