I have two e5-4650 xeons that i wish to use in a asus Z9PA-D8 motherboard.
In the motherboard specifications it says it's for:
Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 product family (135W) *
Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v2 product family (135W) *

But it's the same socket so i cant see why it won't work, will i zap my cpu's here?

Solution
E5-4xxx CPUs are for 4 socket motherboards. I have no idea what happens if you put them in a single/dual socket compatible motherboard. Best case is that BIOS won't like it. Worst case is damage the CPU/motherboard.
