[SOLVED] Dual GPU / Dual Monitor Setup

I would like to setup an old graphics card and a new one to separate monitors.
Is this possible with my motherboard?

Motherboard: MSI Z170M MORTAR
GPUs: Nvidia GTX 950 & Nvidia GTX 1070
CPU: Intel i5
RAM: 16

Yes but the bottom x16 slot is only wired internally as x4

It should be possible. but you can just use 1070 as dual monitor and still have no problem..
Putting another 950 card will just create more heat in your case.
