How best to install both a Nvidia geforce 1080ti and a geforce rtx 2080 super evo on a Aorus Z390 board with i9 9900k processor. One runs a 32 in 1440i ROG gaming monitor and the other a Asus 4K proart professional monitor, should id use Pci slots or sli?

Solution
To confirm, you will not be doing ray tracing on the 4K monitor and gaming at the same time? If that's the case, I don't see any need for a 2nd graphics card. Just use the RTX 2080 and connect both monitors to it.

Also, what exact make/model of power supply do you have?

Thank you TJ.
One drives a 1440i gaming monitor and the other needs to drive a high end 4k graphics design monitor with lots of ray tracing. However I just realised it doesn't make sense, will not use both monitors at the same. My initial thinking was to do the design on the 4k monitor and then run the tests on the 1440i gaming. If I plugged one gpu into the pci 16 slot and the other into the other pci, could I select which h application goes to which monitor, sorry I know it sounds amateurish.
