I know absolutely nothing on the topic and i cannot seem to find tutorials for my specific problem. I want to run dual graphics. (Amd APU with a graphics card) My problem is everyone who showed how to do it has a different BIOS. How can i properly set this up?

You don't really need to go into the bios to set up dual solutions because AMD catalyst drivers should automatically detect it and should have options to enable crossfire with APU as an option. The reason why some people need the bios is because mobos tend to turn off the integrated gpu if a dedicated card is detected in PCIe.

For AMD, all you need is to install APU graphics driver from AMD website and Catalyst itself should be able to detect that there is a dedicated card besides the iGPU. You should also be able to see on the side panel drop-menu within Catalyst with a tab called "Crossfire". Go into there and enable crossfire (if not already enabled).

If you really need to go to your bios to "force" iGPU on, then there should be an option for that. But besides what I've mention, i really can't help you further cause I can't see your bios screen.

Maybe as a reference put down your mobo maker and bios ver.

Thank you very much, I did not even think of the drivers. Although when I am in catalyst i see no crossfire tab? Is there something else i need to do?

What does the hardware info tab say? That tab should display all the AMD gpu's currently being used. Also what mobo are you using?

I actually do not see that tab in my catalyst control center...would the same thing show up in device manager under display adapter? Currently it is only my graphics card but im not sure if the APU would show up or not if it was being used. My mother board is a Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H

Go into AMD Catalyst -> Gaming tab -> and see the options, it crossfire may be in here for APU's. Non-apus usually have a tab called "Crossfire". (See the image here: http://images.anandtech.com/doci/5223/CFModes.png).

Display adapter would only show what is shown on Catalyst. If the above doesn't work try going into windows devices manager, start menu -> right click to open "Manage" on Computer, and see what windows say under Display. If it detects both of your gpus it should be listed otherwise your other gpu would be listed as "unknown video hardware". Right click on "unknown" and let windows install and detect possible drivers it needs to in order to work. (This is the same thing when you use SSD's by default windows loads IDE drivers rather than ASCI which needs to be changed in registry).

If none of the solutions above work, follow what others have try to do in the Bios. For APU's there will be an option for display either labelled as "PCIe or PEC" and next to it should be some settings regarding iGPU being "used/disabled/force". Select force iGPU so that it integrated will not be disabled and hopefully catalyst will do the rest when windows start since windows itself will install drivers for the "new detected hardware".

Thats what happens to me when I put the crossfire bridge on two of my r9 270s, windows automatically loads CCC drivers right into the card.

Yea the only tab i have under gaming is 3D aplication, and nothing can be seen of the Integrated graphics from the APU in device manager. Ill try the Bios stuff, thanks for your help
