Dual GTS 450 upgrade.

Hi I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU's here's my setup at the moment:
i7 965 3.2Ghz
12GB Ram
Dual GTS 450 SLI

Wanting to play Total War Warhammer on ultra settings... What would be my best option?

For ultra settings you need at least a 980. The best option is to wait for the R9 480 or the GTX 1060.(Rumored to have the performance of the 980). Get a 1070 if you can afford it. Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I might wait for the 1060 or save some more money and get the 1070 ha. Do you think I would need to upgrade my processor also with this?

yes, if all the old total war games are any indication, 2 core usage and poorly coded


you are going to want as much cpu power as possible if you want to get anywhere near ultra

What CPU would you suggest then 4790k? Looks like il be doing quite a lot of saving

so an i5 6600k, overclocked
