Dual laptop hard drives

Hello,
my laptop has dual drives both of which I upgraded to 500gb. Do I need to run the restore discs to install operating system and software on both hard drives or leave the second drive empty? And where do I find the second drive. "my computer" just sees one.

If the restore disk puts the laptop back to manufacturers specs (out-of-the-box), then run it to install the OS, drivers, etc on the first drive. Although it sounds like you already have an OS installed...

If you are not seeing the second drive you may need to use the Disk Managment tool to add it (see link below). It should be showing up as "Disk X" (next available) as "Unallocated" space...
