dual layer dvds

what can you do with dual layer dvds since i have a dual layer dvd burner does that mean i can like if i were into making video games i can burn them on the disc and use the discs in consoles or other.

only if the player can read dual layer dvd. and the format that you burn your dvd in.

Dual layer has been around for a long time. Many commercial dvd's(videos and games) are dual layer(for the extra space).

The write once may act a bit different, but most devices will play them back fine(since they have been around so long).

They are also a decent way to backup files(but check them from time to time since writable optical disc's may have a limited life span(depends on the quality of the disc).).
