Question Dual monitor 1440p + 1080p but defaulting to 1080p for both

I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if this has been answered previously, but I have two monitors, one BenQ 25" (1080p/144hz) that I've had and I just recently picked up a LG 27" (1440p/144hz). I currently work from home so the new LG 27" will ultimately be my primary display and the BenQ 25" will be my secondary display that will mostly be used in portrait mode. I'm currently using a USB C hub w/ dual HDMI ports to connect from my work laptop (Dell Latitude 5420 i7 16GB). Everything connects and powers up fine however the LG only defaults to 1080p and in the setting there isn't an option to switch to 1440p from the drop down. I'm also fairly new to Windows coming from a Mac user. One more thing to note the display does switch to 1440p when connected alone to the laptop. Hopefully someone out there can chime in and help wrap my head around this. Thanks in advance.

I decided to test one more case, connect one hdmi to the hub and one hdmi to my laptop and indeed it was able to switch to 1440p on my LG, seems like this is an issue with dual hdmi hubs
