Dual monitor 60hz/144hz occasionally flicker

It's been a while since i bought my 144hz but lately both screens just turn gray leaving a tiny portion of the screen with normal, yet distorted colors. I have yet to find a temporary fix, but when i unplug both monitors and plug one of them back in, that monitor would be set to 60hz, even the 144hz one. A complete system restart is requires everytime and it's beginning to get really annoying

the monitor is wearing off thats what usually happens when a monitor is coming to die soon, but make sure everything is plugged in right and try different cables

The 60hz or 144hz monitor? Because with "a while" i mean like 2-3months since i bought it. It had no issues back then.

And it might be worth to say both monitors flicker when this happens.
