I'm going to set up a computer for office productivity (no gaming and no video rendering).
The motherboard that suits my needs has 1 DisplayPort port and 1 HDMI port.
Each monitor can handle both ports (1 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI each). They have no DisplayPort output, so no daisy chain possible.
Since I've read DisplayPort performs better, I'd like to connect the "main" monitor through the DP port, and the "secondary" monitor through HDMI port.
According to Mobo specs, the monitor connected to DP port runs at 60hz while the other one can only run at 24hz (both at 3440x1440).
Is having 2 monitors that run at different Hz bad?
