Hi,

I've got two monitors, a 24" and a 27", currently both on their own separate stands. My wife would like me to put both monitors onto a stand with arms, such that when the monitors aren't in use they can be pushed back to the wall and make more space on the desk.

There is something that I cannot quite get my head around though - I want the monitors to always be right next to each other, with no gap, regardless of whether they are pushed against the wall or whether they are pulled away from the wall and are in use. The arms that I have looked at all seem to require the monitors to have a large gap between them when they are pushed against the wall. Not only that, in order to have them next to each other it looks like you have to have them pulled out so far that they are literally in your face.

I am beginning to think that the only way to achieve what I am after is to actually have a separate wall mount for each monitor, and for each one to be dual swivel, such as these

Am I missing something? Is there a way to do what I want with a single dual armed wall mount?

Thanks,
