Dual monitor connection

Hey guys, i recently dualed monitor my ASUS latop with my HP w2207h screen using the HDMI cable. Everything works fine except for the internet connection. When both of the screens are in use, the internet comes on and off. When i use the laptop without my HP screen the internet connection is fine. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks

His makes 0 sense, the monitor connection does not interface with the network in ANY way.
Is this a wireless connection or wired? If wireless is the monitor location far from the router?

Should be "this" not his. What I mean is that there is no way connecting a monitor to a computer would cause issues with the network connection. On it's own that is. There may be some other issue that causes it, like maybe you move the computer when you connect the monitor causing the cable to be loose or something like that.

It would be like someone turning on their house lights and having the water in the shower go on, don't see how attaching a monitor causes the network to have issues, just weird.

Do you see any messages about the cable not being connected? Since it's a laptop, can you try the wireless connection and see if it does the same thing?

When you said the connection is wired, is it wired when you use the laptop with the monitor as well as without the monitor? Meaning the laptop sits in the same place with the monitor and without. Or do you put the laptop to another area when you hook it up to the monitor. I'm pretty sure it's not just the fact that the monitor is attached that causes the network issue, but some other issue there, maybe the room the monitor is in has a bad network jack or something.
