Dual Monitor - Graphics card and MoBo - MoBo not working correctly

I hooked up my main monitor to my graphics card using the HDMI port. It's working fine still. I plugged the secondary monitor into the motherboard using a VGA cable.

Windows recognizes that the second monitor is there, and I am able to set it as the second monitor. I am even able to scroll the mouse to it. However, I have nothing on the screen and the monitor is not leaving sleep mode.

I have no idea what to do, so any suggestions would be helpful. It seems like the VGA isn't sending out, but is receiving???

Are you attempting to use a video card and on-board video?

Yes. I enabled "always on" for onboard graphics in the BIOS.

Does your Video card have extra ports? what card is it? They need to run off the same card. Either all Mobo or all graphics card.
