Alright so, I have a GTX 770 2gb which I'm hoping to be able to use dual monitors with? Can I do this? It has a DVI-D Dual Link and a DVI-I Dual Link. I have very little knowledge when it comes to DVI cables so sorry if this is a really stupid question. Am I able to use 2 monitors as long as they both use DVI will I need a splitter or what?

Also, the cable on my monitor is DVI-D but it also works in the DVI-I Dual Link. Is there anything wrong with this?

Solution
First, They are both DVI output (Dual Link will simply allow you to have double bandwidth, to support resolutions above 1920x1200)
DVI-D, is only supplies a Digital signal, while DVI-I will supply a both a Digital and an Analog signal. The analog signal will be use with a DVI->VGA adapter.

So if you are connecting them to DVI displays just plug one monitor into each port.

psoohoo
