I currently have a Dell s2415 monitor and I’m wanting to buy the same one and use it for a dual monitor setup. My problem is that my graphics card(gtx970) only has one hdmi port. With that said is there anyway I can still use an hdmi to both monitors or do I have to resort back to a VGA or something? If I recall correctly, I think their is an hdmi on my motherboard, can I use that port with no issues? ALso, I will only be gaming on the monitor that is hooked up to the gpu. One side question, can anybody recommend a good wall mount for these two monitors?

that card has display port and DVI out on it. Just use one of them. Your card can support up to 4 monitors, so I'm not sure why you're agonizing over using VGA. If the Dell S2415 monitor only supports HDMI and VGA, get a different brand monitor. I use 2 different 24" monitors on my setup: a ViewSonic VX2452 and a Acer KA240HQ. One drives off the HDMI out and the other from the DVI. Works great. Win10 has and my RX560 (not much of a card, I admit, but it works on that particular computer) work just fine with the setup.

BTW, you can't use a HDMI "splitter" to the 2 monitors because you'll just get the same output to each monitor.

Both DVI and display port just need a cheap adaptor or adaptor cable to run HDMI so you can easily use either of those, DVI is likely cheaper https://www.aliexpress.com/item/High-Speed-HDMI-To-DVI-24-1-pin-Adapter-Gold-Plated-Male-DVI-D-To-Male/32827151246.html?src=google&albslr=230572657&isdl=y&aff_short_key=UneMJZVf&source=%7Bifdyn:dyn%7D%7Bifpla:pla%7D%7Bifdbm:DBM&albch=DID%7D&src=google&albch=shopping&acnt=494-037-6276&isdl=y&albcp=913263744&albag=48828809226&slnk=&trgt=349475913279&plac=&crea=en32827151246&netw=g&device=c&mtctp=&gclid=Cj0KCQiAkNfSBRCSARIsAL-u3X_6ieLogNO-vj1fu6_nem-rlb_81Zf8syBzZZpPMRo_O_n30SB6HzIaAjmoEALw_wcB

There is also usually no problem using the onboard graphics for the second screen but the setting to enable both can be a bit hard to find in the BIOS, mine for example is hiding under the "system agent" heading which didn't seem at all obvious to me. By default the onboard is usually disabled when a graphics card is installed but it can be enabled as mentioned.
