For one reason or another I am unable to get both displays working at the same time but they both work perfectly when plugged in separately. When I try and detect another monitor it just comes back 'none detected'. They are both the same model (dell 1704FPt - yay, freebies).

I don't know how helpful this will be but this is what I have:

- Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W)
- MSI GeForce GTX 660 Black Knight 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
- Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe (Socket 1155/Intel Z77.DDR3/S-ATA 600/Mini ITX)
- Corsair 2013 Edition Gamer Series GS 800W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020065-UK)

It is definitely detecting something because when I plug it in the screen changes from the floating text box to a blank screen.

Hope someone can help! Thanks in advance or any advice.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I am using VGA to DVI cables. I am not sure what you mean by the other questions. How can I find out that information? Would it help if I sent picture of the back of my computer and showed which adapters etc I am using?
