[SOLVED] Dual Monitor Issues - Acer GN246HL to HP w2558hc

Hello looking for some help!

I'm trying to connect a second monitor HPw2558hc to my Acer GN246HL. Acer monitor is connected to Graphics Card via DVI to HDMI.

Trying to connect HP monitor to Acer via HDMI. On the HP monitor it states there is no signal on any of the outputs (HDMI #1, HDMI #2 or DVI).

I've tried switching the cables around and nothing seems to resolve the issue. I am able to use the HP monitor on its own when connected via HDMI. Just wondering if it may be a compatability issue or if I might be missing something else?

You cannot connect two monitors like that. The HDMI and DVI ports on the HP monitor are not outputs, they are all inputs.

Therefore, the HP monitor must be connected to the computer's GPU, same as the Acer monitor.
