Question Dual monitor not working

I connected a hdmi to vga and then used another vga to vga splitter to connect my both monitors but I can't extend my display. It's just mirroring the display. So what should I do to extend my display ?

Splitters only support mirroring. You need independent video outputs for each display extended desktop(or with displayport a MST adapter). Are you using a desktop or laptop? Specs of the system?
