Question Dual Monitor on Different Resolutions

Hi,
I am having an issue which minimally affects the functionality of my system but it is driving the perfectionist in me absolutely mad. I recently bought a second display for my computer and to utilize it to its fullest potential and in doing so have discovered how annoying windows is. Both of my monitors are the same size (24 inch) but one of them is 1080 while the other is 1440. Windows detects this but because the pixel count is higher windows assumes that the 1440 monitor is physically larger. Because of this simple things like dragging windows from one monitor to the other or having a background which correctly flows from one screen to the other (This being my main issue I hope to resolve) are seemingly impossible. I am running off of a RTX 2070 Super. Does anyone know how to change the physical size of the monitor according to windows to allow a background to stretch across seamlessly?

Thank you guys so much,
