Dual Monitor problem

Hey guys, today i bought my second monitor. i was planning on playing games on one and have like browsers, teamspeak and skype on the other.
now if i am ingame and get in the menu to get my mouse pointer over at the other screen and press for example skype, the game minimizes. i dont want it to happen. what are the solutions??
its really hard to explain but anyways thanks for your time

If you don't want the game to minimize, you need to play it in Windowed Mode for smooth panel to panel mousing. Otherwise, you are stuck with alt+tabbing to another active window and having the game minimize, while doing so.

Set the game to full screen windowed mode and your good to go.
