Hi all!
I'm about to buy myself a nice 1080p monitor, the Samsung BX2235.
My current monitor is a packard bell maestro with a 1440 x 900 resolution.
My question is; would these two monitors work well together in a dual monitor set-up, or should I just sell my current one?
I mainly use my PC for gaming, but I have this app on my iPad which lets me use it as a second monitor, and I really like that as well.

So, would two diffrent resolution monitors work well together or is it not worth the benefit and shoud I get identical monitors..

Thanks in advance,

-Mark

USE IT!!! I have a 1280x1024 and a 1024x768 moniter setup. I cant imagine living with out dual screens. when a use a single screen pc, i feel like im missing a limb ;)

your pc wont have any issues scaling the screens. (if you are on windows xp i recommend checking out a program called UltraMon.)

of course have two identical monitors would be ideal, but it is not necessary.

i have HWmonior running on screen 2, along with some widgets (clock, calender ect.) and i can do whatever i want on screen 1.

i might take some configuration to make it perfect, feel free to send me a message if you need help.

My 1080 and 1050 work fine in extended windows mode. The only issue I have is certain programs running on the 1050 won't allow my GPU to run at full clock on the 1080. This is mainly caused by Win7 media center.
