Question Dual monitor says OUT OF RANGE

Monitor has vga connector and laptop hdmi only so i bought HDMI to VGA converter and the external monitor says OUT OF RANGE and the screen is moved 5mm to the left.
Tried to change laptop to lower resolution, it didnt help. No problems when i connected laptop to another monitor with original hdmi cable.

What converter exactly did you get? Did you check with support for it to see if you need to adjust anything?
