Dual monitor setup not working.

Hey forum. I recently bought a new rig, and a new monitor to go with it, so I could game on my 24 inch LG24EN43 and watch movies etc. on my 19 inch HP LP1965.
But I can't get my second screen to work, my computer and the nvidia control panel recognize both monitors, but my HP monitor reports; no input signal. How can I fix this?
Additional info: the gpu is a gtx 780, and the settings in windows are on extended displays with my LG as the main monitor.

Where can I check this? Also I should mention I can go ''offscreen'' with my mouse, as if it would go on to the other screen.

In the onscreen monitor menu. My HP has those options under "Source Control".

The only comparable option I could find was ''Automatic input switch'' which was enabled.
Also I can't get into my onscreen menu like this. I have to turn off the PC, switch the cables and then my HP works, but my LG doesn't. If I switch the cables while the pc is turned on, my LG will stay black, and my HP will say ''signal out of range''
