Dual Monitor Setup

I recently built a PC with an AMD APU and AMD GPU. Currently, I have 1 monitor hooked up to my GPU and now I want two monitors; I plan to hook up the other monitor to my APU. To do this, is it just plug in the cable to the motherboard and bang, it works. Or is there a thing I gotta do?

You will probably have to enter the screen resolution from the desktop and add it.
