Question Dual Monitor support?

Hey all,

I have a dual monitor setup and I've been trying to use both monitors when gaming but no games that I have give me an option to extend the picture on both screens. Is it a must to have a triple monitor setup in order to do this?

Doubt that games would require three monitors and not support two monitors in extended mode....

Are you using "WIN" + "P" to select the mode (PC screen only, Duplicate, Extend, Second screen only)?

Would not expect a three monitor requirement.

What games are you playing?

What GPU and monitor(s) are you using? System hardware specs may prove helpful.

Not at all but It's dependent on the GPU. AMD use their Eyefinity tech and Nvidia calls theirs "Surround'. You'll need to setup your displays in those which you access thru driver packages. Amd Adrenalin or Nvidia Control panel. Not sure if all your displays still have to be at the same resolution or not.

I haven't tried the Win+P in game but I'll try. That might be it.

Ok update, I tried to do the Win+P in game and it did nothing (just went back to the desktop) I am not sure if using a hack like a widescreen resolution could work?

You don't want to play games on two monitors, it will be really ugly to use, the middle of the image will be cut in half with the monitor bezels.
