Hello,
I have recently assembled a desktop for my wife and am faced with an uncommon situation. As you can see, I have one set up on a sturdy wooden table and another on (at least for now) a flimsier plastic one. The plastic wobbles too much even with minimal force and I don't want the monitor wobbling and bouncing around with every key stroke.

I was wondering whether a two monitor VESA Mount attached to the wooden table would do the trick ? Attaching a separate mount to the plastic table wouldn't really help and might bend the plastic itself. As you can see the two tables are quite close. However, I don't want the monitors rubbing against one another. I'm a gamer and she's more into Excel sheets and doesn't appreciate flashy graphics right next to her more staid workspace.
So I'd like to have at least a few inches gap between the two monitors. It would also make it easier for whoever is sitting at the plastic table. But the setups I've seen usually place both monitors right next to each other without any appreciable gap.
So is there a solution to spread out the monitors a bit while maintaining stability ?
Or should I just get a wooden/metal table and call it a day ?
Thanks in advance!
