So i am using a 22 inch Haier tv as my monitor, it is 1080p. I have a gtx 660ti, and while just had the one i just used a dvi- to vga adapter and attached using vga. However i decided to buy another tv for dual monitors. Its a 24 inch Haier but other than that its identical. I decided to use digital connections and bought 2 Dvi to hdmi cables. When i attach the tvs using hdmi the tv says it is set in 1080p, but the pc the native resolution is 1280x720. But that doesn't fit at all. On the 24 inch i can set the mode to No scan and it fits fine, however it like to switch to 1080i sometimes, and the screen is not nearly as sharp as it should be. The 22 inch is over scanning. There is no advanced video options and i adjusted it so my graphics card is actually doing 1824x1026 at 30hz, not a big deal but i should be able to get it to do 1920 at 60, but when i try it is cut off. Should i just switch back to analog for both? I'm getting confused and my one display looks off.

Thanks guys

I had an issue similar to this a while ago. I don't know if it will work, but I solved it by "Re-Naming" the source on my monitor to PC. I got to it through the built-in monitor menu. Assuming you're using HDMI as your source, I went into "Source List" and "Edit Name" on my Samsung monitor. It might not be the same for you.

Hope this helps.

Well it appears that the hz changes stuff. On the 22 inch if i set it to 30 hz at 1920 to 1080 everything fits fine, but 60 friggs it up. still a little stuck, and the other one is still a little blurry

Well I tried around but the tv has barely any settings i can change. thanks for your suggestion though.
