Hello, I was wondering if I could have a dual monitor setup with 2 different displays. One of them is 1920x1080, which is 27 inches, and the other is a 20 inch monitor that's 1600x900. The 27 Inch Monitor is an acer s271hl dbix, and the 20 inch is a Dell S2009Wb. It's from 2009, and it's still a great display. I used it a while ago and when I built a new rigged, I also upgraded the display. I also tried to dual monitor before and it ended up wrecking my whole system, and I didn't have any drivers installed. I'm a bit afraid to do it again because I don't want to install all of my games again. I will use the big monitor for gaming and the smaller monitor as a secondary. Thanks!

Specs:
i7 7700
GTX 1060 3gb
Asus H110 Plus
Adata XPG Z1 8gbx2 modules
Corsair H60 (2017)
120gb SSD
1tb HDD
Cheapo Case (Don't know the name)

There's no reason at all it should 'wreck your whole system'.

Personally I'm sat here with a 1440p in landscape and a 1680x1050 in portrait, main screen off the GPU and secondary off the iGPU.

What do you mean by you 'didn't have any drivers installed' you MUST have mobo and GPU drivers installed.

This was when I was new to desktops. I didn’t know how to install drivers. It was a prebuilt system before but I switched a couple components, leading to drivers being deleted. A few months ago I reinstalled drivers and it worked fine. I’ll just connect my 2nd monitor to my iGPU. Thanks for your help!
