Dual monitor with both descrete gpu and integrated

I want to run 2 monitors. One connected to the gpu and one to the mobo. I have an i5 6500, r9 390 sapphire nitro, 8gb ddr4 2133mhz, and the mobo is gigabyte-ga-h170-d3h. Does this board support this? I want to run it this way because one of the monitors is old and only has a vga port and the r9 390 only has a DVI-D, HDMI and DP. Ty in advance

Your best/easiest option would be to simply use a VGA-to-DVI-I converter, and just plug both monitors into your 390.

I run one monitor off the mobo from my 3570k, and the other from my gtx970, so yes it can be done.

But the card has a DVI-D connector which is digital and VGA is analog, so will it still work if i buy a converter?

I misclicked best solution lol.How to remove it? 😀 To anwser your question. I want my r9 390 to be in its full potential while playing games and I dont want it to drop fps if i connect second monitor to it. And because I wont use my second monitor for anything gpu intensive, just browsing the web and things like that

primary card drives my gaming monitor, 1440p 144hz, igpu on the cpu drives the secondary monitor which does not require high performance.
