I recently upgraded to a MSI GeForce GTX 660 N660 Gaming 2GD5/OC Video card and was wondering if my computer had the capability to have dual monitors. I am not quite sure how it works but I have seen people have monitors next to each other and could make the mouse go from one screen to the other and have two things up at once. I was also wondering what downsides the dual monitors could have with my build.

Solution
Shouldn't have any issues, running two screens.

It has one of each DVI-I (digital/analog signal), DVI-D (digital signal), display port and HDMI ports.

For you, easier to use the DVI ports.

To make the mouse go from screen to screen, you set up Windows to extended the desktop and then tell it which is which.
