I lost dual monitors during a Windows 7 restoration. And the only option now available is for single monitor. I have been using dual monitors with windows 7 for several years. Today, my desktop crashed and upon restoring itself, does not provide the display option for multiple monitors. My video adapter is ATI Radeon HD 3400 series and driver is up to date. Is there some place where this can be reconfigured for multiple monitors? Thanks

There's 2 places actually depending on bios. The first is found in the Bios, there'll be a switch to enable or disable multiple monitor setups. The second is easiest found in the amd control panel, there'll be a wizard to set up multiple displays. Under windows/display you'll also need to set them to 'extend'. Because of the windows restore, you will have to reinstall the drivers, they get wiped out when windows is reset
