Dual Monitors making my Game Freeze / Tab Out

Since getting a dual monitor setup, I've been playing a bunch of games (mainly r6) on my main 144hz monitor (second monitor is 60hz) and its really nice and smooth, however at completely random times and intervals I will "freeze" and not be able to do anything in game. The game doesn't "freeze" I just cant change input, i.e. If I walk forwards I will keep walking until it "unfreezes". I Suspect it has something to do with tabbing out momentarily or some notifications as it acts like I just tabbed out, it is on full screen mode tho, and clicking on the game doesn't make me return to it any faster...
Anyways thanks for reading this, probably way too long post. If you have the same problem let me know, trying to figure if its the fault of 2 monitors etc... Or if you have I fix I would love to hear it as well.
Thanks.

I've heard of similar, but not 100% sure what the fix will be for you.

Drivers have been known to cause 'freezes' when tabbing - although if you're still active in game, just cannot do anything, you're not really freezing.

Similarly, tabbing in/out can cause issues - playing in full-screen windowed may help.
Sometimes this is game related, but the differing refresh rate(s) of your monitors may play a part too, not 100% sure.

@Barty1884, thanks for the reply.

All my drivers are up to date (I think, tested but cannot be 100% certain). It seems to NOT be the fault of my multi monitor setup, It just happened at the same time. Confused about whats going on. Its not the game, its happening with all games I play. And as you corrected me, there is no "freezes" as such, just behaviours like I am tabbing out, but it doesn't seem to respond to me trying to click back onto games. I tried playing windowed border-less for a while but the problem persisted so I'm kinda stuck. Thinking about doing a reinstall of windows and everything else.

Now my quality Australian internet is having issues as well so that's fun :/
